Birds can in fact drink from the waterbottles.
We had parrots. they're larger and are able to manipulate the littel ball better than say a love bird or a keet.
If you wanna get really technical then the bird woudn;t have farted either since birds cant pass gas...hence the reason ppl toss seagulls alkaseltzer.
